    At Prairie House Inn we serve luncheons and dinners to groups of eight or more by reservation only. You will receive chef prepared meals using the freshest ingredients possible. When booking your reservation, please let us know how much time is required to carry out your special event. CURRIED CHICKEN SALAD. Roasted chopped chicken, diced apples, dried cranberries, lettuce and walnuts. Served with a light mayonnaise and lemon dressing on croissant roll.    

TUNA PUFF. Tuna mixed with a mustard mayonnaise dressing and chopped green peppers and onions. Piled high on a kaiser roll with tomato, lettuce  and melted cheddar cheese. Served  HOT!  

MUSHROOM STEAK HOAGIE.  Sauteed sirloin steak, fresh mushrooms, onion and green pepper piled on a hoagie bun topped with grated mozzarella cheese and tomato. Served HOT!  

FABULOUS CIABATTA SANDWICH.  Roasted chicken breast, grilled red peppers, spinach leaves with mayonnaise and pesto spread.  

APPLE-WALNUT TURKEY. Sliced turkey served with a mixture of chopped apple walnuts, raisins in a mayonnaise dressing. Served on sour dough bread.

TORTELLINI CAESAR  SALAD with grilled chicken.  Fresh bed of romaine lettuce, cheese tortellini, shredded Parmesan cheese, garlic  roasted almonds and our own fresh Cesar dressing.  

PECAN-PEAR TOSSED SALAD.  Tossed mixed greens, fresh sliced pear, pecan halves, topped with crumbled feta cheese.  Raspberry vinegarette dressing. Smacks of flavors.    

WALDORF APPLE WALNUT with marinated chicken breast.  Romaine lettuce, spinach leaves, red apple, chopped celery, grated carrot served with our own blue cheese dressing. Grandma’s favorite. 

PASTA SALAD WITH STEAK. Grilled strips of sirloin steak over a bed of greens, small shell pasta sprinkled with olives, cucumber, chopped red onion and crumbled feta cheese.  Red wine vinegar dressing.

All our soups are served with fresh homemade bread, rolls or cornbread and butter.

TURKEY NOODLE, with grated carrot and celery, dash of onion and fresh mushrooms.

MIXED SEAFOOD, creamy potato or clam base. Salmon and white fish. 

VEGETABLE BARLEY BEEF, rich beef broth with hearty chunks of meat, 
barley and mixed vegetables.

HAM, LENTIL AND  BEAN cooked thick and creamy with added spices.

OLD WEST CHILI without the indigestion.  Generous ground beef with pinto and kidney beans with a tomato base.
